Refrigerant Reclaim Australia is long-standing supporter and current major sponsor of the WorldSkills Australia (WSA) National Refrigeration Competition, a biennial event which showcases the talent of young refrigeration apprentices, trainees and students in a competition environment.
RRA came on board to support the Refrigeration category in 1997 and since then have been an integral partner in ensuring the ongoing success of the WSA Refrigeration category at national and international competitions. The gold medallist of the WorldSkills Australia National Refrigeration Competition, if eligible, will form part of the WSA Team Australia Skillaroos, a team of national medallists, who will travel to the WorldSkills International Competition that takes place every two years. At an international level, RRA provides essential funding for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Skillaroo. This funding assists with all training, preparation and other associated costs involved in sending an Australian representative to the International Competition.
